CPR + AED

AHA Heartsaver CPR / AED. For anyone who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED for specific job requirements or for general knowledge. Up to date CPR and choking relief techniques are taught with real time scenerios with excellent equipment; manikans and rescue masks.  We train through real time practice, proper techniques and protocal so you can make the difference in an actual emergency. You will learn and practise with AED trainers. AED combined with effective CPR increases save rates. The CPR course covers choking relief and CPR for adults, children and infants.

CPR + AED + First Aid

AHA Heartsaver CPR / AED and First Aid. This course includes all of the CPR and AED material and training described above in addition to the First Aid module. First Aid module covers medical, injury, and environmental emergencies for adults and children. We train using dvd scenerios and demos as well as hands-on with first aid equipment. including EPI pen trainers.

Pediatric CPR + First Aid

AHA Pediatric Heartsaver CPR / AED and First Aid. CPR and use of AED for children and infants. Recognize and treat emergencies specifically for children and infants. Our friendly instructors use manikans, hands-on first aid equipment as well as video. Real time life saving scenerios are practised; choking relief, CPR, medical, injury, and environmental emergencies.

Supplemental materials for Connecticut childcare providers are included. It is approved by Connecticut Department of Public Health as an acceptable course for licensed childcare providers.

CPR/AED certification without the First Aid module is also offered.

BLS (BCLS)

Professional Basic Life Support training for the health care providers covers all current BLS/AED guidelines for adults, children and infants. We use adult, child and infant manikans. We teach medical and dental groups  at your office. Our equipment includes bag valve masks, safety masks, advanced airways, and AED trainers. Multiple choice test and skill tests are given. ($65)

ACLS

In this instructor led hands-on course, healthcare providers will enhance their skills in treating victims of cardiac arrest and other cardiopulmonary emergencies, This class is thorough and interactive designed to enhance your ability to deliver ACLS level care in pre-hospital or hospital based professions. The American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS Certification Card is awarded upon completion of the megacode exercise.

Advanced First Aid ( NSC Course )

NSC Advanced First Aid and CPR. Advanced First Aid and CPR training - act confidently in an emergency situation . You will learn how to: Provide CPR and basic life support until rescue professionals arrive. Practice how to control bleeding and manage shock, care for injuries and respond appropriately to medical emergencies. This course is designed for employees in a high risk industry including sports coaches and wilderness guides.

Blood Borne Pathogens

Blood Borne Pathogens. The Blood Borne Pathogens course helps workers protect themselves against illnesses. A course certification card is presented upon completion. You will will learn about Hepatitis and HIV viruses and how to prevent infection from blood borne pathogens including Tuberculosis. Maintenance workers, first responders, health care professionals and child care workers will greatly benefit from this course.
